If you’re working or volunteering in a charity, support, or community setting and want to boost your skills in providing effective help to others, don’t miss this opportunity.

Starting this May, the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Information, Advice or Guidance (IAG) will be delivered in person at Chalkhill Community Centre, Brent – and it’s completely free for eligible learners.

Why take this course?

  • Classroom-based learning – after years of remote sessions, there’s real value in coming together. This course gives you the chance to engage face-to-face with peers and a qualified tutor, making learning more interactive and effective.
  • Fully funded – there’s no cost to you if you’re eligible. It’s a fantastic chance to upskill without financial pressure.
  • Ideal for the voluntary and community sector – whether you work in advice services, housing support, education, libraries or a community organisation, this course builds the skills and confidence to provide clear, ethical and supportive guidance to others.

The course is open to local residents and is delivered by New Challenge, a trusted training provider with a strong track record in adult learning and employability support.

📍 If you’re based in or near Brent and looking to grow your confidence and career, this is a great opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification.
